I was very happy to be able to purchase the meat I needed in the size and cut provided, all for a very good price. It was convenient to use with minimum wastage. Will definitely shop again.
Love to just pop this in the slow cooker on low all arvo. And when we’re an hour out from dinner, I flake it up in its own juices, add a couple heaped tablespoons of gravy mix, stir it all together, and pop the lid back on til it’s dinner time. Serve up with creamy mash and your favourite veges/salad..boom! Dinner done.
I bought 2 of These. I cut 1 up For Pie Fillings & Casseroles & the Other I did as a Pot Roast.
The Pot Roast was delicious, I rubbed it with Salt & Pepper & some Spices, Browned it in a Pan, then into a Dutch Oven, de-glazed the pan with 1/2 cup of Stock, poured it over & in the Oven on Moderate heat for 2 hrs, lid off for the last 20 mins. Perfectly Cooked for us.
I made Steak & Mushroom Pies with some of the Cut up meat. Delicious & with a lovely Rich Gravy from this Quality Meat. I made 2 pies, we ate one for Dinner & Froze the other. Will Double up for next Order.
Purchased uncorned silverside to make for beef jerky and biltong! Great condition and the delivery service is impeccable. Online meats are great!
Usually buy corned silverside so wasn’t too sure about this cut. An easy Google on how to make something succulent and tasty was too easy and I am sold on this cut now.
