Pork Scotch Steaks 4x250g
Our fresh NZ pork scotch fillet steak comes in a convenient 4 x 250g pack (approx 1kg). Cut from the shoulder, these well-marbled pork scotch steaks stay tender when cooked over high heat, making them ideal for BBQ pork scotch fillet, pan cooking or air fryer pork scotch fillet. They are also suitable as a marinated pork scotch fillet for added depth.
Best Ways to Cook Pork Scotch Steaks
BBQ / Grill: Cook over medium heat for 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Turn once and allow to rest before serving.
Pan-Fry: Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each side until golden and cooked through.
Oven Finish (Optional): After searing, transfer to a preheated oven (180°C) for a few minutes if thicker cuts require additional cooking.
Tip: Because scotch steaks have more marbling than loin cuts, they remain tender when cooked to medium.
