Baked Kumara & Swiss Deli Jalapeno Cheese Kransky Salad
This versatile recipe with kumara, corn, and Swiss Deli Jalapeno Cheese Kransky is a delicious, healthy dinner option. Whether served hot or cold, this salad is also ideal for lunch or as a starter for any gathering.
Ingredients
1 kg kumara (orange or golden)
300g Jalapeno Kransky sausage, cut into small pieces
1 cup of corn (Fresh, frozen or canned)
1 cup of baby spinach
1/2 cup of fresh coriander
Sweet Chilli Sauce * optional
Steps
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
Prepare the kumara by peeling and cutting it into cubes. Place the cubes on a baking tray and season with salt and pepper.
Bake the kumara for about 10 minutes.
Add the Jalapeno Cheese Kransky and corn to the tray and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Once done, set aside to cool.
Chop the coriander and baby spinach roughly.
Mix the baked ingredients with the chopped coriander, baby spinach, and sweet chilli sauce to taste.
Tips
This recipe is rich in flavor, so the sweet chilli sauce is optional.
Omit coriander if it is not preferred.
More spinach could be added for more greens in the salad.
This recipe can also be prepared with Swiss Deli Spanish Chorizo for a change in flavour and texture, or Swiss Deli Kransky / Swiss Deli Cheese Kransky for a non-spicy version.
