Sticky Chicken Drumsticks
8-10 Chicken Drumsticks
¾ cup orange juice
½ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 Table honey
1 clove garlic thinly sliced.
1 long thin red chilli split and deseeded.
1 cinnamon quill
3-4 slices of fresh ginger
Water to cover
Chives chopped for garnish, small bunch.
Place all ingredients except garnish into a large pot and cover with enough water to cover the chicken.
Bring to a boil and simmer the chicken until is cooked for about 30 minutes.
Remove the drumsticks and set aside.
Simmer the sauce uncovered until it has reduced to a thick glaze about 20 minutes.
Return the chicken to the pan and coat the chicken with the reduced glaze.
Place on a platter and sprinkle over the chives and serve.
