I slow cook our hangi pork submerged in a stock that's well seasoned with a dash of sweet chilli and bbq sauce, make a gravy from the stick when hangi pork is ready bout 6 hours for 2 pieces, serve with mashed potato and a coleslaw gravy , pull the pork it just falls apart . My mokopuna love it 💜

Simply the best . One of my favourites. Either roasted sliced up into steaks or great in chow main, even cut up in chunks for boil up . With puha or watercress and all the rest of ingredients that go with boil up.. So Yummy .
